After living in York for three
years
as a Belgian cartographer, a Luxembourgian fisherman and a
Transylvanian
shepherdess, he returned to his home city of Sheffield and embarked on
a campaign of mass drinking.
He can now be found down the pub or
in a back-street record-shop looking for early Raincoats albums.
In his spare time he pretends to be
a musician, writes pointless and unintelligible screenplays, plays
massive
tournaments on Grand Prix 3, reads on the bus, and tries not to do any
work. He is currently failing in this last hobby by shuffling books
about
in a library for money. Accepting his fate he has returned to academia
and can occasionally be spotted at Sheffield University struggling
against PowerPoint to master the finer points of librarianship.
about this web site:
This site is almost entirely a work
of fiction, with the exception of those parts which are not. It has
been produced using a blend of labour-saving WYSIWYGgery (Netscape
Composer 4.6
SeaMonkey 1.1.5) and straight Notepad HTML jiggerypokery. It has been
tested on the current version of Opera along with recent versions of
Firefox and IE.
It is designed to work (in some way shape or form) on all of them.
The
site has been designed with a resolution of 1024x768 in mind, and
anything smaller might require a click and a scroll in some framesets.
I use Opera and a res of 1440x900, with a browser window size of
c.1240x765. But I make my pages fit a window of 998x732. If your
browser's eye is smaller than this then I offer you my condolences. If
you find any part of the site malfunctioning, please let me know and I
will give it a kick on your behalf.
