THE MINIBUS GARAGE The Garage is a brick-built, pitched-roof hut which houses the school mini-bus. It lives opposite the Art Block and behind the long Terrapin. The photo opposite was taken in late 1995. The sign on the doors (behind the parked cars) reads "NO PARKING IN FRONT OF THESE DOORS. ACCESS NEEDED ALL TIMES". In the field to the left appears to be some sort of metal tank, perhaps used as a water-trough for the horses or whatever.

The garage was built in the early 1990s, to accomodate the mini-bus that had been ordered. Both were the result of several hundred fund-raising events. Initially, the garage was not tall enough to accomodate the new mini-bus, and had to be partially rebuilt.

At the rear of the garage, facing the field, is a bricked up doorway (visible in the photo on the Tech Block page), which is curious for a building so young. Perhaps this alteration was made during the re-build.
