HISTORY: Taught at the Juniot School in the 1910s-30s.
On the original staff of the Secondary School Boys' Department in 1935, having gained his teaching qualification from Westminster.
Had time off for ARP training from September 1938; Seems to have been away during the war, although no definite dates are given in the Log Book; Present in January 1945, and intent on joining County Supply staff in January 1946; Stayed on, effectively as Deputy Head; Retired 23rd June 1948.

He designed the ornamental garden which was built after the war.
The timetable was suspended on the day of his retirement to allow for a gift-giving ceremony. He died only a few months later, with Mr Pilgram and Mr Whitehead attending his funeral.
